This error is because of SELinux. Move the FreeBSD ISO under /var/lib/libvirt/images/ and it will go away.

Post subject: Juniper vSRX (Virtual SRX) under KVM on Centos 6.5
PostPosted: Wed Jan 29, 2014 8:09 am
This is a post on how to set up Juniper's virtual SRX on KVM hypervisor (QEMU hardware virtualization manager).
IIRC, KVM is part of the CentOS/Red Hat Enterprise Linux distributions since version 6, replacing XEN.

1. I'll begin this guide with first step: Downloading CentOS and vSRX images
CentOS LiveCD location: http://mirrors.viralvps.com/centos/6.5/isos/x86_64/CentOS-6.5-x86_64-LiveCD.iso
vSRX location: See http://www.juniper.net/

2. Burn and boot the CentOS and on the "Automatic Boot in 8 seconds" press down and select "Install" ...

Post subject: Iptables filtering Xen bridged domains & enforcing specific IP address for each of these domains

I can write this nice article on filtering Xen bridged domains with iptables and enforcing a specific IP address for each of the virtual machines, thus being able to add security to your VPS servers.

In following setup, Xen dom9 (id 9) is a virtual machine that I want to enforce IP X.X.X.18/28 connected via vmnet9 bridged interface (eth0 inside the VM).

Listing Xen domains (main & slave domains, aka virtual machines):
host# xm list ...
