Post subject: NAT's CONFIGURATION IS NOT WORKING srx210
PostPosted: Mon Jun 06, 2016 12:54 am
Hi everybody

I trying to configure a JUNIPER srx 210 firewall and I'm stuck on one problem. I can't access the internet from lan interface network vlan.11. I think that I'm missing something, I can ping everything from the srx but nothing from lan interface network vlan.11 using the comand:
ping 8.8.8.8 interface vlan.11

I think my NAT configuration is not working.
Thanks in advance

My configuration:

Hello Everyone,

i have situation where i'm receiving a /26 subnet via CPE router and i only want to advertise /29 subnet to EBGP. is there any way to do that? i can't advertise whole /26 as it breaks other customer. Note: /29 prefix does not live on the box so i can't advertise them directly. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Note: Using Juniper MX box

Post subject: IP Subnetting Raneg Assigning...?
PostPosted: Tue May 31, 2016 12:02 pm
Hi All,

I'm a bit confused about assigning IP address from IP Ranges.

I am using this scenario below to understand.

Scenario

Adatum.com an international IT solutions company, is launching 12 new branches in a new country where they currently have no existing branches. The sWin CIO has asked that each subnet should host at least 1000 devices.

sWin has obtained a network address of 192.168.0.0/18. This address needs to be subnetted further. The internal ...

Quick list of commands used in Linux for IPv6:

1. Show IPv6 routing table
Code:
# ip -6 route show

2. Show IPv6 route cache
Code:
# ip -6 route show cache

This is used when troubleshooting IPv6 Path MTU Discovery (PMTUD)
# ip -6 route show cache
2001:470:1:18::1280 via fe80::215:62ff:fe55:6444 dev eth0 metric 0
cache expires 240sec mtu 1280 rtt 144ms rttvar 144ms cwnd 4
