FreeBSD slow booting: Recovering vi editor sessions

FreeBSD can have lost vi editor sessions. At reboot, vi will try to recover and it takes ~20 seconds to do so. To clear the sessions (if they are not needed any more) remove everything under "/var/tmp/vi.recover"
Code:
# rm -rf /var/tmp/vi.recover/*
